"Look, we're not safe yet! He can come back any minute. Let's search, see if we can find some weapons. An old factory like this, there are bound to be lots of things! Then we return here and plan our strategy."

"Me? Brave? I wish. I just wanted to get the hell away from that madman. The others were brave to try and rescue H8 and Sonja." Clare explains to Kerry, then continues in a whisper. "... but also a little foolish in my opinion. If we all move on ahead the cameras remain on us, and I bet the game show's crew will help anyone left behind. But oh no, now have we a dramatic rescue attempt and of course the audience needs to see that. So the crew can't interfere."

Kerry finishes wiping off Clare, her hands lingering a bit, feeling comforted.

She whispers back: "So you think the show staff might actually save us in some cases? We won't die?"

Kerry bites her bottom lip at the thought, maybe willing to take more risks.

Abigail chooses #1. After just barely rescuing Sonja without getting stuck herself, she needs to empty the wet sand from her boots.

Groaning as she fought with what remained of her limited strength, she reached for the crane, before pushing it to Victoria. "Good luck.... Hope you can do better than me." She said, before silently cursing her 'too kind for her own good' nature that got her into this situation in the first place. She let out a small sigh and submitted to her inevitable fate.

"Thank you so much for rescuing me from that mire, i will do you a favour next time" Sonja told the other girls. "That quicksand was so strange, sucking people down and all! I hope the others have been rescued in time by the producers."

After brushing off her clothes from the now dried sand and emptying her boots Sonja decided to look around and carefully scout the surrounding area for other hidden traps (Option #2)

Victoria is awe struck by the generous gesture. She is too overcome with shock to speak, but is able to mouth "thank you" to Laura for sparing her.

The rescue teams deploy as soon as Frederico and the cameras turn away from the pit. Amanda is pulled out immediately. She looks shocked, but is fully conscious. H8 has been under for some time. He is pulled out and needs to be resuscitated, but seems fine. Unfortunately, Laura succumbed to her wounds and though she was pulled free, she was declared dead. The survivors are taken to a holding pen in the studio while Laura’s body is placed into a body bag. The crew’s legal team is already busy on the lines.

Clare, John, Kim, Kerry and Abigail gather together in the factory. After resting and cleaning up, they decide to push forward together. Chim and Sonja have already disappeared and Victoria’s fate is unknown to the survivors. There is a loud clang. Frederico is behind them, scraping his crowbar against the metal pipes. The group flees through the nearest door, which suddenly slam shuts behind them, locking them inside. They are now in a small chamber, packed together so that they can barely move. Above them is a catwalk, where Frederico reappears. He stands beside a control panel.

“Oh, now you’re making this easy,” he laughed. “First you abandon each other and three of you die, now you stick together like sardines and walk right into my trap.” He turns on a switch on the panel. The pipes around the chamber rumble. It’s not a chamber – it’s a vat. Within moments, it begins filing with dry sand. The sudden torrent buries their legs, and the fact that they are packed so tightly prevents them from climbing out of the dense sand. Frederico kneels to take a closer look at his struggling victims. “This is how we deal with snitches. Nothing like burying them alive.” His eyes pass hungrily over the women. “But you know, I gave the girls back there a chance. Maybe if you give me a bit of a titty show, I might choose one of you for a free pass.”

Before they get the chance to contemplate this option, Victoria, Chim and Sonja appear at the ends of the catwalk. They have each found pipes to use as weapons. Frederico scoffs at the distraction and stands up, clutching his crowbar. “Well, I guess it’s time to get my hands dirty. Three of you, all standing over the vat. Three strikes, and you’re all out!”

Victoria, Chim and Sonja have the opportunity to fight Frederico at the risk of being injured and knocked into the sand vat. The others have no clear options, but a bit of creative thinking could give the trio a fighting chance against the big mobster.

“Frederico has never looked angrier!” the announcer cries. “He looks frustrated more than anything.”

“I told you, he likes tits,” V laughed. “He’s probably pissed that Amanda went under. He hasn’t seen much during his time in the cell. Like any man, he’s a horny pig deep inside. He’ll be a tough one to take down alone.”

“Well folks, we’ll be back…in a flash!”

The sand is holding Clare's legs tightly in its grip. She quickly gives up on her futile struggles and instead turns her attention to the confrontation that is unfolding above. Then she thinks to herself, 'Fine, if it's tits he wants to see, I'll make sure he gets his wish... at just the right moment.'. She takes off her jacket. Then Clare gets ready to remove her t-shirt as well at just the right moment to distract Frederico. She is wearing nothing underneath. She'll do it and shout his name as soon as the fight starts. That is, if there is going to be a fight at all.
