Quicksand Fans

Over on deviantArt (where I go by the moniker "SilkyFriction") I have been nicely productive in recent months. I am always looking for feedback on what people like, so I've attached a poll where you can vote for your favorite of among these artworks!


Awkward Struggle In Quicksand
She's blundered into wet depression where sticky mud has accumulated, and now it takes all her concentration to get out!
EXTRA THOUGHTS: Her underwear inadvertently flashes at you, as her legs struggle for leverage in the soft terrain!


Legs Trapped In Quicksand
It wasn't supposed to be this hard to get out, was it? It was just a bunch of stupid mud! But the entire area seemed to be liquefying, creating an endless supply of liquid muck that flowed around her trapped legs. Thick mud squished through her fingers as she pulled in frustration on her legs, seemingly glued solidly into the earth. She thought if she could get her legs free, she might have a chance -- but that was a BIG if!!
EXTRA THOUGHTS: I'm super happy with how this turned out. Look how stuck she looks!!


Stuck and Embarrassed in Muddy Dress
The seemingly clever shortcut near the river turned into an unexpected ordeal, as the riverbank melted into yielding goo beneath Lavender's feet. Her legs slipped and slid in the slimy, squishy mud, and it caked her dress heavily, weighing her down. Lavender blushed a bright crimson as she struggled to get out of the frustrating, embarrassing situation.
EXTRA THOUGHTS: So much smooth, supple leg! I like how revealing it is, and it's dripping with glistening wet earth! Sometimes one bare leg can be very sexy?


Vulnerable
Slogging through the shifting deep mud, she felt helpless and exposed. The only way to avoid sinking deeper was to bend over, which she realized was a very provocative pose to any who might be watching.
EXTRA THOUGHTS: The mud has rendered her utterly helpless. Even though I am a nice guy ... seeing a helpless babe sinking into the mud inspires urges to jump in and do naughty things to her


Lark in Quicksand
Lark loves to play around in deep, sticky mud, but she knows there's inescapable quicksand out there that could pose a serious threat to her well-being! Sometimes the only way to save herself from these bad situations is quick reflexes and her sense of intuition!
EXTRA THOUGHTS: I was mostly going for stumbling deeper into the mud with a shocked expression... mission success?

Very productive, you have been! Out of curiosity, are these posted in chronological order?

In terms of setting and costume, I like Awkward Struggle in Quicksand the most. However, Lark in Quicksand is a fine piece of artwork in its composition. Very well drawn with a clear dynamic appearance.

I didn't really arrange them in chronological order... "Vulnerable" was the first one I actually drew...

They are all similar pics in that the body is still mostly visible above the surface, but that doesn't make the girls' situations any less desperate!

Sometimes one bare leg can be very sexy?

Given your preferred depth I really like the dress best. I guess in a way the dress hides a lot of things the mud isn't on the others. The long skirt adds nicely to the struggle as well. Sometimes one bare leg makes a bigger image in the mind than a nudist colony. Nice.

This was a tough one.... they are all great and I'd like to choose them all.

But, since I can only select one, I pick Lark, because of the action being displayed.

Since there is a word 'Sexy' in the title, I chose 'Stuck and Embarrassed in Muddy Dress'. I totally agree with Duncan about sexiness in this one.

However, if the sexiness was not the main criterion, I would choose 'Vulnerable' instead. My favorite pose, situation, and minimum of clothes.

I went with, "Legs Trapped In Quicksand," since that's what I find to be the most interesting and most sexy part of a Quicksand or Deep Mud sink... having a woman's legs becoming stuck fast in the mire so that she can't escape and all her struggling merely works her deeper into the ooze. Even if she stops to rest, she'll probably still continue to sink ever so slowly deeper.

I also like this particular drawing as you indicate with "stress and strain" marks the effort she's puting into freeing her leg and the strain and burn her leg muscles are enduring as she fights to get loose.

Also, I like that both legs are stuck and sinking in the mud to show how trapped she is.

Tough choice, but I like "vulnerable."

Well I voted for lark - only to find that it was the least popular. The most popular was my least favourite. Story of my life - never yet met a trend I can't buck.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for dames sinking in formal wear.
