Hey y'all! I'm starting a new "QuicksandBox" here devoted to content from the game in (perpetual) development WildLife. I'll try to post new stuff here about every other week, as I still intend to keep up with my AI QuicksandBox on alternating weekends whenever I have the time. I may also be posting more tar stuff here, as AI still leaves a bit to be desired in that department, and WildLife is much more accommodating there.

And so, without further ado, here's my first (in a while at least) offering. As always, hope you enjoy, have fun, and do watch your step ;)

Interesting. I've seen Wildlife mentioned but never investigated. I get the impression it's a RPG, but you seem to be able to use it a bit like SecondLife, have I got that right? Anyway, it looks like it has potential but the character is a bit "shiny" and I kept checking if there was a valve somewhere. :D

Lol  The shininess is from from something called "skin wetness," which you can adjust using a slider to your liking to make the character look wet, or in this case, increasingly sweaty as she got hotter is the look I was going for. I'm not sure exactly what to call WildLife, I think it's supposed to be more of a survival/crafting game with an element of sex, but I just use the sandbox mode to pose the characters the way I like.

I've missed Maya and her sexy escapades! The shininess really enhances the impression of how hot she is (both literally and figuratively), and how turned on she's gotten as a result of her sinking in the mud.

I love that she underestimated the danger she was in, and got carried away, only to realise how much trouble she was in when it was too late. There's always something really exciting about a sinking scenario that blends both pleasure and peril. Or maybe it's all the MPV Ignorance Is Bliss or Curious videos...

Of course, given that she's in a game, we could always play with the idea of Maya being self-aware that she can respawn, which leads to the possibility that she'll seek out dangerous situations for pleasure, since she knows that if she dies, she'll come back again anyway. Or maybe her memories get wiped every time, and she wakes up with no recollection of what happened before, so every time she sinks and goes under, she's experiencing her impending doom for the first time again and again.

Yes! Exactly what I was going for, and I gradually increased the skin wetness in each picture as she got hotter :P Though sometimes I think I may have over done it just a touch, but then again, it is the desert after all.

Agreed, I always love mixing pleasure, peril, and a little rashness (and I always loved the Ignorance Is Bliss series :P )

Whichever you prefer, this wouldn't be the first time Maya's met a sticky fate, and it won't the last ;) Another ending I always love is to suddenly awake from a dream, like in The Shifty Sand's and The Backyard Experiment. But I also get bored with the same endings over and over, so I like to mix things up.

Anyways, I take it you enjoyed it 65sinking—thank you for nice comments :D

Hi Theo!

I am a huge fan of your Wild Life quicksand scenes, and I was wondering if you ever planned to get back to them like you had originally planned:

I hope this message finds you well, and I hope that the reason for your absence on here is all good things! :D

Thank you so much Hawkeye123! :D Sorry I just saw this, oh yeah, eventually. I like to breaks from QSF every now and then, but I must admit, this has been my longest hiatus so far :? At first, I was just taking it easy, working on a few things here and there. And then, I started getting super busy with RL stuff and it just hasn't slow down much yet. This has been the busiest year I've had since I joined the forum, and I just haven't had the time to polish something up for posting. I've have been messing about some in WIldLife, in fact, I just got a new game update and found some mods for it, but not sure when I'll get around to posting anything. My job is kind of dependent on the weather, so eventually things will slow down in the winter, and QSF is a great remedy for winter boredom :P
