Caught in the bog!
I'd been trying my hand at some art and was trying to illustrate a scene from a story I'm working on. It didn't come out brilliantly as the reference photo I was using was a bit forced but I thought I'd post it to see if others liked it...

Oh tosh! Tanya retorted, quicksand churning,
Round her knees, then thighs, then oh dear!
It got intimate with her hips and her panties,
And squished rather funnily up her rear!

You've been holding out on us, my friend.
Fantastic work! I sincerely hope this is only the first of many artworks you will grace us with.

It looks like you have quite a bit of experience drawing. Are you telling me that's your first time drawing quicksand art?

Yes, I studied art but I was mainly into portraiture which is why the face looks a lot better and more detailed! I hadn't really considered quicksand art until working on a story. Plus my figure drawing is a bit shit which is why I find good reference to base it on.
Also I was using a lightbox at work before anyone got in as I didn't want anyone to see what I was drawing, and I got a bit rushed at the end!

Well I call them brush pens as that's what most of them are. Some I would call markers. Others are fineliners.
