Skinny Dip

Sarina couldn't believe she let Chloe talk her into skinny dipping. Sarina had never been naked in front of anyone, not even in changing rooms. It took Chloe fifteen minutes of swimming around alone that made Sarina feel guilty enough to take off her clothes. It wasn't too bad - it was a warm summer afternoon, they were alone in the woods, and the lake was the perfect way to cool down. Maybe Sarina always felt inferior compared to Chloe - her blonde friend looked like a stunning Baywatch model in comparison to Sarina, beautifully tanned and always a head-turner. And she should be proud to strut her stuff. Sarina, well, she kept to herself, conscious that her body wasn't perfect, that her boobs weren't as big, that she didn't have the photogenic look. But now wasn't the time for wallowing in self-pity. They were out there to have fun.
They had been out quite late and the sun was beginning to go down. They had swum to the far end of the lake and were relaxing on the smooth stones beneath a scenic waterfall. Eager to get back to their campsite before dark, they prepared to make the swim back to the shore where their clothes were. However, they heard something. Sarina immediately covered herself, afraid someone might see her, but Chloe stood up, scanning for the source of the noise. "Someone's shouting for help," she said. "We should see what's wrong."
"But we're naked!" Sarina replied.
"It's going to take us half an hour to fetch our clothes and come back," Chloe replied. "We don't have time."
As usual, Chloe bravely led the way, with Sarina following out of guilt. The evening was now getting cold and Sarina became worried that they would lose their way. They picked up the voice again, this time very close.
"There!" Sarina called, pointing at a large clearing. There was a young man who appeared to be struggling. "Oh my god, he's stuck in quicksand!"
"I'll find something to reach him with," Chloe said. "You make sure he doesn't go under."
Chloe was the faster and stronger of the two, and she dashed off to find a branch, leaving Sarina to make contact. She hesitated, remembering that she was naked, but the man was chest-deep and sinking deeper. She emerged from the vegetation at the edge of the clearing. "Hold on, don't struggle."
The man turned his head to see the naked Sarina. "Holy sh-..." his surprise was cut short when the quicksand bubbled and pulled him down to his armpits. "Help!"
She didn't have time to think. In an unusual spontaneous burst of action, she ran out over the clearing. Her bare feet sink into the thick sandy mud, almost causing her to trip and fall face first. She regained her balance in mid stride, but she lost her momentum and her leg plunged into the throbbing quicksand. She was still metres away and the quicksand was pulling her down, preventing her from moving ahead, but she plowed through, twisting her hips and fighting against the sand's suction.
"I'm coming to get you," she shouted, mostly to motivate herself. "What's your name?"
"Tom," he stammered, still staring in disbelief at his rescuer. He sank to his shoulders by the time Sarina reached him, and she had sunk to her hips. She realised she hadn't thought her plan through. She was stranded in the quicksand too, metres from the edge and now helplessly sinking. The only thing she could do was grab hold of Tom and stop him from going under. In doing so, she pulled herself deeper. Soon, she was up to her waist as well. Tom's heart felt like it was going to burst through his chest, both out of genuine fear for his life, but also because Sarina's chest was just inches from his face. Sarina became really worried. Where was Chloe? Did she get lost? Did she fall into quicksand as well?
After what felt like an excruciatingly long time, Chloe appeared with a long branch. Seeing the two sinking in the middle of the clearing, she immediately trudged towards them, sinking to her toned things. For Sarina, it was a great relief.
For Tom, it was incredible. His plan worked after all.
