Hustler...Comix? NSFW

While surfing Ebay one cold night in January, I came across a magazine called Hustler Comix. Owning both special erotic issues of Heavy Metal magazine, I was looking for stories with a little less humor. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Horacio Altuna's comedic, sexy comics in Heavy Metal, but I wanted something a little more serious. That's when I came across Hustler Comix! I read an issue online, then decided to purchase the physical magazines.
Using my Google-Fu to the best of my ability, I found very little information about these magazines. What I do know is that there are nine issues in total. What I don't know is if the magazine is a offshoot of Hustler Magazine or if the publisher was simply using the Hustler name to drive up interest and sales.
The Good:
Fantastic Artwork
Creative/interesting stories
Uncensored, Unlike Heavy Metal. Yeah, Heavy Metal censors a lot of their stories, for an example RanXerox. I have the proof!
The Bad:
Some of the stories end on a cliffhanger (so readers can buy the next issue, of course), but in my opinion, they end in such awkward places.
Some of the stories don't really have much of a plot or have very little plot. It's just sex for the sake of sex (Why would I expect anything beyond that? I have no idea.).
The Interesting:
The magazine has A LOT of advertisements for pornography that you can order by mail. There were even some old anime advertisements in just about every issue I own. I was a little kid when these magazines were a thing, so of course I knew nothing about how people got there adult material in the mid to late 90's.I grew up in the internet age, so looking at those advertisements felt like I was traveling back in time. It was a history lesson of sorts. lol!
Overall, I enjoy the magazine for what it is and I'm glad I own them. Got the lot for about $20. Has anyone else heard of Hustler Comix? Have any recommendations for science fiction/fantasy/jungle underground comix that have both a plot and contain sex?
