Seriously, making less weight for the grunts to hump? (yeah I know, the REMFs will just add more ammo or some other fucking widgets...) That, would be pretty awesome. Especially for SF and Airborne guys.

As to SG-1, I thought the FN P90s they carried were props designed specifically for the show- they looked too SciFi to be real. But they are.
