Man, what are the odds? Surprising the Super Hornet driver didn't get out.
Wait, what? Same day, and it was the Six bird in both formations? (( cue twilight zone music ))
Interesting that the Viper seems to have decided not to follow tradition and make either a crater or a debris field. The pix look more like an emergency landing than the crash of a broken airplane without a pilot.

This is a shot of T-bird 6 from earlier this year, he was gear down and preparing for landing when whatever went wrong did so in dramatic fashion causing him to eject
