The guy is a disgrace to quarterbacks everywhere! There are still a few real men that play quarterback, but the days of Roger Staubach, Terry Bradshaw, John Elway, Joe Montana and others is long gone.

Yeah, I'm glad the Broncos won. seems like Cam Newton is a bad loser and a believes his own publicity too much. He comes across as a spoilt brat, unlike , as kham says, the QB's of yesteryear.
I'm a UK - based Redskins fan , so might not be quite as informed as you guys in the US, but I know what I like, and I like seeing show - offs being brought down to earth !

I realize that I am a little late in responding to this thread but sometimes it takes a while to digest things properly. I am as big a football fan as anyone and I feel only sympathy for Cam Newton. No matter what he does for the rest of his career, no matter how much success he sees, and he will see quite a bit yet, his behavior will haunt him. Enough said about that.

Then there are all the other people who were involved in this contest. Most notably Mr. Payton Manning. I am doubly blessed to come from the wonderful land where he first wore orange on the football field and the place he calls home. Television ratings for the Super Bowl we're actually several points higher in Nashville than they were in Denver. His battered body now restricts him largely to a leadership role on the field but he was there with whatever was required when it was needed. The strength of his mind and his heart remain undiminished. It is our greatest hope that he will return to Tennessee and put these awesome capabilities to work. Regardless of what the future holds for him it will involve a football team somewhere. And this will not be the last Super Bowl in which you see Payton Manning holding the Vince Lombardy trophy aloft.
