For shooting, but when you get a pretty rare Sturmgewehr 44 to shoot, what the hell. 
All original, all matching, using the 7.92 x 33 or 7.92 Kurz as you will. A couple stoppages, but thats live TV and a 70 year -old assault rifle for you
It is always interesting to note though, that the German Army had weapons like this (StG44, MG42, Panzerfaust) that the US Army never got until the early 1960s.... Yikes
