I remain cautious, this could be very good, but could also be very bad. Especially since DC should goddamned know well that Superman and Batman are about the two closest DC-verse heros who would literally die for the other. You guys better not fuck this one up

I think everyone has gotten over the initial reaction to Ben, and the 2nd trailer he looks very good. The worry is trying to do much, and the never-ending-retard-quest to somehow make all superheros grittier and edgier. For fucks sake, these guys aint Deadpool and the Punisher. If the writers havent got THAT, this thing is fucked before they roll one frame

Looking at the little we get to see, it seems they've modeled Batman from The Dark Knight Returns. Then, he pummeled Supes. Kicked his ass! The funny thing, though, is that they've reversed the story (at least, the trailer spins it that way.)

But they've brought Bizarro and WW into the mix, which... really? You want to derail one of the epic battles of DC history for that?

I'm with you on saying this movie will probably not be good. But I disagree with your original premise that they're too buddy-buddy to fight. This ain't Saturday morning cartoons! If we were to give them D&D stats, this would be lawful good vs true neutral. Not diametrically opposed, but PLENTY of room for genuine animosity.
