Recently, it was announced that the money-grubbing assholes, er, the PRODUCERS in hollywood are planning on making a new version of
"Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" . Now , as trying to improve on, this is gotta be in the top 5 ever retardedly BAD ideas. Some films , you just should leave alone. This is one. Who could you find to do the roles better, never mind remotely good as John Candy and Steve Martin?? It would be like trying to do Casablanca or The Maltese Falcon with some emo douchenozzle. Aside from the fans of the films burning those involved at the stake  , some films are perfect and should not be messed with
Ever

You're going the wrong way!
:D

That scene had me in hysterics when I first saw this in the theatre... laughing until I cried. A true classic. :D

The fact there is an intent to desecrate this.... :x

I know what you mean. Like that MC Hammer song says "You can't touch this."
Some other movies come to mind like "Night of the Living Dead" and "The Karate Kid."

It's money. New original movies are a risk. Friday the 13th Part 20: Jason Goes To The Grocery Store is guaranteed to at least make what you spent on it.
Just leave the Ernest movies alone. Nobody will ever out-funny Jim Varney.

I loathe remakes.
