Someone did but then died of lung cancer (lol).

Lava of that type is extremely viscous, explaining why the feet did not penetrate here. Its also very heavy; probably 2 to 3 times the density of water. In the video the material in the soles of the shoes obviously serves as insulation (for a second or two). If base skin was expposed to lava for a very short time the water near the surface would sizzle and, by doing so, would tend to insulate the tissue below with a layer of steam. Although the steam would be the temperature of steam that's a LOT cooler than the lava itself. If you visit the area near the summit of Kilauea Volcano you can see where the same thing has happened when trees were engulfed. The tree trunk is eventually burned away leaving a hole shaped like a tree trunk but the lava is congealed where it contacted and was cooled some by the moisture in the tree.
