Re: Your Avatar
I found this image of classic Lara online as a free wallpaper. It embodies ( to me ) a sense of adventure, exploration and danger personified in the lovely Lara Croft. She is great to look at back, front ( or sideways for that matter ), has a swinging ponytail and smirking condescension to boot. She knows how to get out of 'sticky' situations but isn't afraid to get into them in the first place
. Since I am an avid backcountry hiker myself, I enjoy a sticky situation now and then. I know there are many photomanipulations of Lara out there but I have opted for this 'classic' pose as it demonstrates just how at ease she is in natural settings and also gives her an almost feral ( like a jungle cat ) posture. I have also included a 'close second' which demonstrates my more 'exotic' leanings...

Mine is a picture done by Acid Tester. He did it for me for the cover for my self published novel. The cover depicts the first of 3 QS scenes and is a pivotal moment in the story.

Re: Your Avatar
First off. Kudos to this thread. Its actually a unique and cool way to find out more about the community through their avatars.
My avatar has to do with possibly my favorite band of all time. NIN has one of the biggest following from the most faithful fans out there (along with TOOL). And if you are familiar with the band then you know why.
Their lyrics and song arrangements are what intrigues me about NIN. It's almost like he is reading my mind cause everything he talks about I relate to it.
I definitely don't think they are everyone's cut of beef. And their massive peak of fame from the 90's is over. But I like it that way.
Seen them twice (Most recent last Year) and it was incredible. Straight from a dream.

And a classic series it is, too!

Re: Your Avatar
my avatar is one of my own manipulations, it wasn't originally done to be an avatar but i really liked how it turned out so I stuck my name down the side and that was that.I also use a larger version for my deviant art ID

Kudos much appreciated. I actually have heard some music from TOOL, nothing from NIN, not very familiar with either tho. Always interested in discovering new bands tho.
I was contemplating the idea earlier to post the full pic of my avatar and the pic following zoomed out with my teammate, but i never fully processed the thought i guess. So I'm back to post both to go a bit deeper into my avatar.
The game idea is simple. 13 players total, 10 humans, 3 zombies. Zombie kills you, you become one. Staying alive sounds simple, but its not. Starting at random points in the map, we do our best to huddle together before we're found by a zombie, but there are always stragglers. My friend in the second picture actually died after i killed the first zombie (the shot you see me taking) and a second one came in the room and managed to kill him before i could pull the shot. No humans survived that round.

My avatar is just my character Zorah, as rendered through an anime face generator.
