Very nice. :)

Thank you for sharing that. I have to admit that I'm not familiar with his acting. But he sure handled that bit with panache. 8-)

David Bowie is not dead. Ziggy Stardust has merely gone back to his home planet...

About two months ago, a friend of mine unexpectedly found himself on the phone to David Bowie. He was visiting a neighbour who runs a business buying and selling premium brands of tea - including one in particular that is hard to get hold of and can change hands at a thousand pounds a kilo (don't ask me why - I've never got my head round this conspicuous consumption lark). Apparently, Bowie was a fan of this tea, and phoned my friend's neighbour to plead for a supply. The phone was put on speaker and...

I mean, what do you say in such circumstances? My friend panicked and said (which was true), "I got my wife to watch The Man who Fell to Earth the other day - she thought it was rubbish." Bowie took this disappointment gracefully, and the conversation returned to tea.
In order to make an apple pie from scratch you first have to create the universe.
