How Hot Is It?
Pulled some overtime this disgusting sweltering Saturday, so to reward myself stopped at the nearest State Store and got me a bottle of Makers Mark. Plunked that bottle down on my desk when I got home, 10 minutes later, this happened. The booze that was room temp at the air conditioned State Store was actually cool enough to develope condensation at my non-air conditioned house. Damn........

Yeah that's pretty warm.
A few days ago Dave and I were discussing some construction at Camp MPV and remembering fondly when the heat index was 108F and it felt better than what we currently had.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

It hit 101°F in Philadelphia over the weekend. Blazingly hot. My only wish was that I had time to go to my spot to cool off, but my schedule didn't allow for it.
