Mavic Pro Drone Footage--NYC

Postby Mynock » Mon Jan 22, 2018 6:33 pm

Thought I'd share this video since the topic came up not too long ago. Really gives you an idea of the range/capabilities of modern drone tech. I'm liking the Mavic because of the fold-up portability.

I've been getting more interested in these things lately but I'm not too familiar with them. This thing looks like a toy! A pricey toy but it's tiny and the performance is terrific. Now if I just had one that would do 3D and underwater. Wait for it.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

One of my favorite Moto-Vloggers likes the Mavic for the portability. The drone folds up into the size of a large waterbottle and you can fit it and all the gear in a small backpack.

I can see a sort of voyeurcam scene developing around a drone but I'm not about to invest in one for that.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 20 different producers. Info may be found at:

I think you might be surprised at how difficult they are to detect from a few hundred feet.
