Survey: Prolonged Exposure

Most of us are used to the plop-and-sink scenario: victim encounters quicksand, sinks, and goes under or gets rescued. The whole thing is over in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. It is, after all, quicksand. On the other end of the spectrum, however, we have lesser-seen scenarios that involve the victim having to be in quicksand for a long amount of time - possibly hours.

Going along that line of thought, which scenario would be most appealing for a very long QS scene?

Definitely the slow, inexorable sink for me, although I accept that other people may have different preferences. :D

I am not sure I would like to see a very long QS scene at all. Those from the movies that could be considered as long were kinda boring.
