Why does nobody use the chatrooms

why is there never anybody using the chat rooms when i come online, it would be really great to chat with folk who have the same likes

Live chat with anonymous people is awkward for a lot of people. For people I don't know, I personally prefer message board style respond-when-you-want type conversations

I tend to drop in and out of the forums, so I don't hang around long enough to chat.

Its hard to chat while I am in my mud pit. No wifi there.

As you found out last evening, people do use the chatroom. There were six or seven visitors last night and four at the same time for a while.
