Earliest QS artworks?

For all of us QS-fans of every stripe, I've been wondering for a while, I wonder when you guys and ladies drew your first ever QS artwork? My earliest QS artworks I recall were I'm guessing in late 1997 or early 1998 featuring doodles of Elisa Maza (From Gargoyles) back in the day. For me, they're long, LONG gone now but late 1997/early 1998 was probably the first time I actually drew QS artwork of any sort. I wonder what were yours?

2006, I believe. Though I don't do much in terms of artwork.

Personally, I first drew QS stuff when I was about thirteen. I gave up shortly afterwards, when it became clear that my artistic taents really had peaked when I was about four.

Of all QS artwork, the earliest I know of was the eleventh century Bayeaux Tapestry.

Probably around 1999-2000. That's when I saw the poser movie by Der Mud Gecko and inspired me to buy poser. Just stills back then. Had a lot of learning ahead of me.

Decided to put my fantasy into pixels in 2006. Still learning and still using the very modest Adobe Photodeluxe software for my fakes.

I started discreetly drawing pictures of girls in mud when I was about 12 years old? I usually erased them right after I drew them, because NOBODY MUST SEE MY TERRIBLE SECRET.

Once I was old enough to acquire and start playing with a computer graphics tablet, I started making art fairly early in the online quicksand community under different pseudonym, Regansi. It can be easier to hide things on a computer! But by that time I was roughly of age when I did not really NEED to hide it anymore.

I first attempted to draw Marlo "That Girl" Thomas in quicksand when I was nine. I was a fan of the show, plus, her flip hairdo was awesome. I too intrinsically knew something was very odd about my reaction to quicksand, so I hid that drawing for a long time although actually it wasn't very good, seeing as I was only nine...and I didn't do another quicksand drawing because I didn't want a big trail of odd-looking quicksand artwork hanging out in my drawers for family to find.

Then I grew up, got an art degree and worked in graphic design and printing.

Suddenly, I discovered quicksand online and Kaol. Kaol legitimized my desire to create works of quicksand art by offering to put mine on his website. In return he sent me occasional VHS tapes...with quicksand on them.

Suddenly I had done lots of quicksand artworks and anyone could see them.

It felt good...but very, very weird. Back when I was hiding my drawing of Marlo, I had never thought that such a thing was possible.
