Quicksand Fans

Any chance we could have a dating forum here? Perhaps someone knows of a good dating website to find QS lovers?

Not a bad idea, except the QS fetish seems to be about 1,000:1 male:female.

The few genuine QS girls on the forum (and I can count them on the fingers of one hand) are AFAIK either happily married or in a committed relationship. (Ladies, if I speak in error, please correct me.)

If I were looking for a female sinking partner, I would probably start with the BDSM dating sites. First, any lady on a BDSM dating site would in theory be less likely to be scared off by the QS fetish, and second, if you want a lady to walk into a mud pit for you and get helplessly stuck, that's a type of submission and bondage. A few of the "happy QS ladies" (not female QS fetishists, but will sink for their partners) on the forum started out this way.

I like the idea, but maybe something a little better would be a forum just for group meetups. Many of these dating sites have social groups where you can meet people with similar interests as a group. If dating comes out of it, good result. If not, you can meet people with similar quicksand interests. For me, I would not go onto an BDSM site and plus I have a girlfriend so not looking for dating, but it would be fun to meet similiar people who like the idea of meeting up in local areas and sinking in quicksand. Just like if you had a hiking group or other activity group. Only concern would be the safety issues or if this creates any other problems. Just a thought.

Maybe it's just me being pessimistic, but, I think you would have to be EXTREMELY lucky to find a partner who was both as genuinely interested in sinking as yourself, AND someone you found genuinely attractive physically, mentally and spiritually!

But if there's a chance, no matter how small, then it's certainly worth looking for! I met one guy recently who I am attracted to, but when we were going for a casual stroll along a river one day, we had to cross over a bit of shallow mud, and he was like "Ugh I HATE mud!!", and I was like

If we ever got into a serious monogamous relationship for example, I'd only ever be able to explore this fetish on my own, coz he wouldn't be interested, and I'd feel like I'd be cheating doing so with anyone else.

So, I dunno, I guess everyone reconciles these types of issues differently, but hell, it would be awesome to not have to worry about such things! I fully support the idea of a dating forum!

If anyone here is lucky enough to have a partner who is genuinely interested in sinking as much as they are, I would love to hear about it and how they actually came to meet

Although I have to admit, I would instantly fall head over heels in love if a physically attractive man told me he loves mud! Nothing else would matter!! EVER!!!!

Maybe that's too shallow... but as long as the mud is deeper, WHO CARES!

A separate section on this forum? Maybe not.. (although that is not my call).

However, this thread would and could serve as the same thing. (My opinion.)

I would tend to agree with Robert that this forum could be used as suggested. The chat room could be as well. However, bear in mind that although qsfans has several thousand members they are geographically quite spready out. It is not uncommon to have three of four people in chat representing three different continents.

I thought that idea was interesting and it makes perfect sense. Someone who is into BDSM is not likely to be judgmental about us and our quicksand. I think it'd probably work.

Ironically, it wouldn't work as a method by which to find me. I'm not on any BDSM sites at all. I like quicksand and I never sprouted any extra kinks and my quicksandy heart insists that it will accept no substitutes.

I have used the Internet to meet quicksand people. Seven of my eight mud partners were picked right off mud groups and forums. I find this forum quite adequate as it is for that, but if they were to set up something, I'd go with a general meeting forum rather than a dating forum. That would serve more purposes than just dating, get more use, and have more successes.
