I have been a participant on this forum since 2009, and it was my " Go to " site for quicksand and mud posts, plus news and clips of upcoming scenes, but now it appears to have moved away from it's original idea as AI seems to have taken over ?
I'm sure it's all very clever, but I much prefer clips, photos and scenes featuring real people, not someone's creation, however clever that may be. Most days now new posts are all A I apart from occasional updates from Studio 588 and Club MPV , which seems to be not the original purpose of Quicksand Fans . I'd be interested bin other people's opinions on this topic.

I would take some issue with the word "occasional" with respect to Studio 588. I have released a new scene approximately every three days, on average, over the past eighteen years, and two teasers every three days for about the past eight years.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 20 different producers. Info may be found at:

I'm sorry I mis led you , Fred, my bad. As you know I've ordered quite a few scenes from you over the years, so please accept my apologies. All your scenes have always been excellent.

No problem.
Just to elaborate a little, scene 2187 was announced this morning. This afternoon I am editing scene 2387, and after that will have about 20 more scenes to edit. Two hundred and twenty scenes should last 660 days at the rate of one release every three days, assuming I last that long. So there is a good deal more to come - not to mention what should be shot in 2026.

Re: A I scenes & posts
The site hasn't moved away from its "original idea" nor has AI taken over.
There are fewer active producers. So as much as you prefer live-action video and photo content, the number of producers hasn't increased. It's been the opposite.
There are only a handful of people here who regularly post AI content, and it's only the same one or two people who post daily. Unlike DA, which is largely AI now, QSF doesn't have a problem with saturation of AI content. It may seem that way because of the lack of creators making other forms of art.
AI has its own sub-forum here, so no one's forcing you to see these posts.

Re: A I scenes & posts
AI in general is limited to it's own Member Submission subforum.
But now it has also graduated to the Other/All Producer forum due to commercialization - which was inevitable. This is baked into the design of the board, which clearly separates commercial from non-commercial (sharing) posts.
But, more to the point of the original post, producer output has indeed been greatly diminished. But this was due to piracy, not AI. 2015 was the watershed year for that. And while nobody has ever mapped it out with precision, DIDVP, PRP and Nessie all stopped filming regularly shortly after that. These are the noteable ones. There are other examples. For my part, there were no more trips to the Philippines (or elsewhere). We also started relying more on talent that could drive to Camp MPV.
The Public Area of the board still functions as it always has, as a place to share. This has been diluted by other venues, such as Deviant Art and Discord - as well as multiple Social Media platforms. However, Quicksandfans stands alone as the premier QS media sharing site that is NOT owned and controlled by others. Quite literally any of the other accounts/servers could disappear, at the whim of nameless, faceless strangers, no matter how much work has gone into them. So there's that, at least.
Looking forward, I'm hoping to consolidate that independence even further by upgrading the site hosting. More on that later.

Re: A I scenes & posts
I too haven't seen a lot of stuff posted other than AI-related lately as we did in the past. Something pops up in the Producers area now and then. Takes time to make stuff.
But we have been pretty efficient at sweeping the 'net of all things sinky and posting it here too, so not surprised if it seems lacking now. Even the comic book sites I have checked many times for QS events to post in NUGGETS have been pretty well cleaned out.
It's up to us to create new content now as well as our movie producers. Hence a lot of AI activity since most of us have not the drawing skills to make acceptable quality content in the classic fashion nor resources/abilities to make live action video.

On DEVIANTART a really fine artist is JRTGRFMICJ for both tentacles and quicksand. This is a good debate but I remember the days of WAMSAT and the BBS boards, of Pete Boggs, Der Mud Gecko and Kaol. What we have NOW compared to then should be a fine meal indeed. I like both modes for different reasons. Real is real and A! can project more fantasy elements than you can get out of ClubMPV. Also A! does not need to clean up. LOL

AI characters also have nine lives... and many more. They can sink and stay sunk... until used in another video.
