Quicksand Fans

Hi Folks,

It's been a long time since I've been here. That's what happens when your company gets acquired and you end up traveling most of the time.

As the current owner of The Quicksand Page, I'm looking for someone to take over and maintain the thing. I don't have the time anymore, and I'd hate to shut it down and see the first page, and the one that brought many of us together, simply sink into the mire. I have all the files and can zip them up to send them.

Hi! The Quicksand Page is the first webpage I found with a quicksand theme and it was the door that allowed me to discover that there were other people with the same fanaticism/fetish as me... I discovered that I was not alone in the world.

I'd be happy to help you maintain this website. I'm busy too, but I can spare the time to dedicate to it and implement some ideas I have in mind. I'm not a programming expert but I do have some knowledge of web design and have made some websites in the past using Dreamweaver.

To be honest, it would be a loss if The Quicksand Page disappeared, as has happened with other sites like Kaol's page.

Can't believe I missed this. That was the first page I encountered and the universe changed as Shaun was revealed at the bottom. If you don't have any better luck, I'll take it.

I certainly have the hosting capacity, on multiple platforms.

Been waiting to see if anyone else would step up.

PM me when you get a chance. There is a nuts and bolts discussion that doesn't need to clutter up this space.

Studio 588 has the capacity but only under circumstances that I think are unlikely to be the case, so I will yield.

Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Is it still up? A search turns up some broken links.
