Quicksand Fans

So in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) There's a scene where the War Rig (giant bad ass truck) gets stuck in mud and half a dozen scantily clad Concubines spill out to help get the truck unstuck. But before even one of the can find themselves a nice soft spot to get sucked into, the crazy Albino guy who likes eating spray paint figures out how to work the winch. Damn! Still an awesome movie if your into Post Apocalypse Dystopian type movies though.

Now here we are with Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Long story short, there's a city in this Post Apocalyptic wasteland called Gas-Town which makes (you guessed it) Guzzoline to trade with other cities. This place is basically a giant ass oil refinery surrounded by a tarpit moat. Omg, this is gonna be awesome right? There's gonna be an epic demo derby between all the crazy psychos, and we're going to get to watch at least one person fall in there and die screaming sucked into the bubbling ooze.

Nope. Not one. Not one person ends up drowning in the giant lake sized tarpit surrounding Gas-Town.

Again, still an awesome movie if you're into that kind of thing, easily the equal of Fury Road and worth watching, but I can't help but feel like this franchise is fucking with us.

Could not agree more. There's a bunch of supermodels in a swamp and...nothing. Couldn't believe it. Pretty sure the entire series was created for someone wit a fetish for heavy-metal drag queens.
