Anybody Out There Have Some Decent Hi-8mm Gear?

Hi All,
I need to capture a bunch of Hi-8mm stuff in order to re-vamp the clip library.
I've got an old Sony EV-S900 deck that needs new heads, but I'm not sure if that's the route to go. So, I thought I would ask here first.
If anyone can loan me a slightly used (or otherwise in good shape) camcorder or deck - and it gets the job done, I would be very happy to compensate that help with 'interesting goodies'. And, because the 'goodies' would be for private distribution, they wouldn't necessarily be limited to MPV items.
