Commissions! What's involved and how does one go about doing them. Is there any monetary involved? Just would like to know !

It was my understanding that money is a mandatory concept for commissions. Commissions done without recompense are simply an act of generous request fulfillment.

Are you thinking of commissioning an artist to draw something you want to see, or are you thinking of charging money for work you produce?

If you see artwork here that you like, I recommend contacting the artist and asking if they take commissions (paid work) or requests (unpaid work) and if so, ask them if they are interested in working on your idea. If they are interested, be sure you are both clear on terms of payment before they begin your work.

If you want to produce artwork for sale, you should announce your availability in Other Producers and post samples if you have them. I am assuming, of course, that it is quicksand-related art. Non-quicksand-related posts belong in Off-Topic.
