I suspect that funds ran down below minimums.

The Health Meter was looking pretty shabby last time I was there. Thought about doing something about it (as I use to contribute $200-$300 a year), but I'm already paying for this place.

Maybe the owners will put it back up for a short while and give folks another chance to donate.

No doubt that somebody will find me excessively cruel but I have to ask why? Why would they put it back and why would people donate? It was pretty quiet with virtually all the topics locked and then down for days before anyone mentioned it. If anyone wanted to donate they had plenty of opportunity before the tank ran dry. I recall a last comment I responded to when someone asked to the effect of will the last adult please turn out the lights? I responded with what I think was my final post there that the lights would burn out soon enough on their own. It took longer than I expected but I believe that is what we may be witnessing. Nobody cares enough to replace the bulb.

Meanwhile this place is lit up like Las Vegas. Do the math on that one.
