Too much imagination is the problem. She was 41 in that movie at a time when most women quit showing skin after they turned 30. Now I've got to live with this image of a naked, wet, maybe muddy, Maureen standing there with a shotgun. I'll probably have nightmares about it and me with no camera. Anyhow it's one of the fringe benefits of plowing through all these movies.

Black Cobra 3: The Manila Connection (1990) - Blaxploitation star Fred Williamson in a fun Philippine action flick. No women. No mud. Bummer.
Van Diemans Land (2013) - True story of convicts that escape from Australian penal camp only to find it's worse in the jungle. Nothing for us.
La Espada Salvaje de Krotar 80's ? - spaghetti barbarian rip off of Conan but without any redeeming action, budget, boobs, etc. Reminds me how disappointed I was that Sandahl Bergman never found some soft ground.
Black Shampoo (1976) - A blaxploitation version of the Warren Beatty flick. Great scene at the end worthy of Samuel L. Jackson where our hero is running down a creek while fighting the bad guys with a chainsaw in one hand and got his fabulous (and she is) lady slung over his other shoulder. This man should get the Congressional Medal of Badness. Sadly that's all there is for us.

Reform School Girls (1986) - I know there's nothing for us in it but I just had to see it again. One of the great '80's late night trashtastic flicks and featuring the late great Wendy O. Williams acting and on the sound track.
Coffin Full of Dollars (1971) Hoping that having Klaus Kinski in it might get us lucky. Nope. Entertaining little spaghetti western though.

Reform School Girls (1986) - I know there's nothing for us in it but I just had to see it again. One of the great '80's late night trashtastic flicks and featuring the late great Wendy O. Williams acting and on the sound track.

That one was a perennial on Joe Bob's Drive in Theatre and USA UP All Night. Scream Queen Michelle Bauer was one of the girls in the shower scene. Thanks to the internet, I've seen a prerelease poster of it that features Linnea Quigley, although she wasn't in the actual movie.

The Inhabited Island (2009) Always check a title with "island" in it. It's a big budget Russian sci-fi movie. Looks cool but women are scarce. The lead is a guy who is as pretty as most supermodels. Amazing how they make everything look like WWII.
Canyon Passage (1946) Stereotypical western with Susan Hayward. That's never a bad thing but not what we're after.
Fort Yuma (1955) Had to give it a look just because it has Joan Vohs (Lure of the Swamp) in it. The only thing she gets into this time is Peter Graves.
2 Nacos en el Planeta de las Mujeres - 80's sexploitation comedy spoof on Planet of the Apes. Two Mexican astronauts land on a planet of women who are kind of lonely and don't wear much. It's about what you would expect.

The Inhabited Island is a sci-fi novel by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. I don't remember any quicksand there.

To You, Above, Below Me the ... Home original Filipino title Sa Iyo ang Itaas, Sa Akin ang Ibaba... ng Bahay - Clothed wet muddy cat fights at the end. Cute Filipino ladies and some skin. Nothing.

Sorry to bump this (I guess the Youtube adventure petered out?) but you didn't happen to save a link for this one, did you? I wouldn't mind checking out the catfights you mentioned, but I'm not succeeding in pulling it up on Youtube under either of these titles.

I began doing this as a time killing distraction to stave off madness while waiting for something to happen. I may pick it up again now that summer is passed. As for finding a particular video all I can do is suggest you search on the title. These things seem to come and go pretty easy so it wouldn't surprise me if a search didn't find them.

Okay gang, it's that time of year. The deepest part of winter just before the day I always count as the first day of spring around here, 1 March. It's time to resume viewing to stave off madness and this time we'll begin with a double header of sorts.

Many, and I do mean many, years ago we had sort of a local sword and sandal flick show on tv that regularly ran all the Hercules movies and stuff of that sort. I could not have been more than three or four years old but pictures in my mind have stayed there. Tonight I refreshed some long dormant memories that probably formed my early fetishism.

Fire Monsters Against the Son of Hercules(1961) - Dreadful Italian dub not only of the voices but the hair too. Everybody including Herc Jr.'s girl friend is wearing a bad wig. One thing that must have made an impression on me though was the memory of Herculito and his gal pal buried up to their chins as bad guy cave men throw spears at them. In my mind's eye it was quicksand but now we know it wasn't. Most interesting scene in an abysmal movie though. Here it is -

Hercules in the Center of the Earth(1961) - This one has vastly better production values like a budget and a plot and features not only Reg Park as Hercules but Christopher Lee as the bad guy. Here we are treated to a male scene as Herc's buddy Theseus fails to heed the admonition to "Hold on" and falls to his doom in a lake of bubbling mud. Stick around for a few minutes and you'll see it's not as grim as it looks. The buff bods and gladiator style might have special appeal to our gay brethren and certain ladies. (Is that a stereotype? Not trying to be a smart ass. Just ignorant.)

Hercules Against the Mongols (1963) - This movie is set in Mongolia in 1227 AD but manages to get Mongols, Hercules, and a bunch of stacked Caucasian babes with Robin Hood like white guys in central Asia. It's a cast of thousands with rubber swords and ketchup doing battle with...I can't tell. Each other or something. Anyhow the movie's climactic scene steals a bunch of footage from the epic Anita Ekberg movie The Mongols only they replaced Anita's sinking scene with a Mongol bad guy who is no less melodramatic. To top it all the video transfer appears to have been done in an earthquake.
