Kinda sorry about this one --- wide opinions here and about 1:10 of the images are worth it. Now some of the Jules Verne oriented images are fun and I have a wonderful close shot of a 1917 Model T Ford that I use as my background.

It is interesting to compare our current choice of images back to the dark internet days of 1996 when all we had was THE MIND IS THE KEY and Kaol, Der Mud Gecko and anything by the late lamented Pete Boggs

I'm just fascinated that you discovered dA so late, given that it's 20 years old and has long been the main site for online artists, and most artists here openly promote their dA pages.

Re: Deviantart
Sir-Raymond2k3 still posts fresh art at DA each month and his skills get better and better. On odd occasion I have spotted something good recently upped there from another artist.
By clicking on sorting by the most recent uploads it does not take more than a minute if that to see if there is something fresh and worthy. But if I do not check every day then the new art may not appear in the next search since it is no longer recent.
There is method behind the madness!
