Near death experience

Forgive me if the questions are inappropriate, but are the videos of the deceased still on here? I've probably watched all the videos ever posted here, and I'd be saddened to discover the person who's no longer with us, but at the same time I could probably handle knowing. Also, was there a public announcement on the board here about this person's death? I feel that the experiences of he or she could serve as a good example, or "PSA" if you will, of the dangers that are present, particularly in tidal areas.

Hello, Ive never had a near death with quicksand, but did get into a situation where it took a lot to free myself,I was almost chest deep in a seemingly dried out mud bog near this meadow I enjoy hiking around, it took a lot of moving around and finally got out of the muck,s grip only problem is I lost 2 boots, I couldnt pull them out. I think even if the mud isnt too deep there,s always a chance someone wont be able to pull themselves out, like losing your strenght and tiring yourself out, I would say if your venturing out alone be aware of what and where youre going and maybe let someone know the general area your going to be for safety

Nothing near death but I've been in a few clay pits that took a ridiculous amount of struggling to get free of. Clay can sometimes attain the viscosity of roofing tar or peanut butter, you can sink in fairly easily but it clings to you in inch-thick layers when you try to pull yourself out lol....

Rumour has it that a past member (Wubble) in Australia got seriously stuck in a mud pit about two years ago. He survived by eating yabbies, frogs and leeches. Fortunately after all this time (thanks to some good rain softening up the mud) he has managed to resurrect himself and extract himself out of the ooze.
