I used to use an old bathing suit that I cut the mesh lining out of, so they were just a thin outer covering. I'd wear those and an old t-shirt (sometimes), but usually just the bottoms. I would take off my flip flops and go in barefooted.

Loved how the ooze would fill in the old bathing suit and were loose enough for me to play with myself under the surface....

For me it's a light tee-shirt and kayaking shorts and sandals. All easy to take off for the situation as I prefer nothing on when sinking.

I find that nude is not really an option as I am usually in the mud for hours and tend to get cold quickly even on a hundred degree day. Have tried all sorts of outfits but eventually settled on a dress as the optimal thing to wear as it is the only thing that will stay on when heavy with the thick clay I perfer. And add to that socks, not only to give my feet some extra protection out of the mud but because if you fill them with thick clay before you put them on, I think you'll find they are quite sensual to wear that way! Of course, for special occasions, there is nothing quite like wearing a full body bloomer like a saloon girl would wear and a nice long skirt!...

It varies wildly for me- I'm transfemme so I naturally lean more toward a feminine outfit. Not got much deep mud immediately near me but have had some chance to play before.

Working from the feet up, I'll often wear something with a heel because of how much more awkward they are, how they unsettle my balance and force me to struggle more. Boots are preferred as they're less likely to slip off my feet, though something with a strap like Mary Janes can be pretty nice too.

Legs depend on the outfit; I've tried jeans/denim, they are fun and help further restrict you as they get soaked and covered in muck, leggings or tights with a skirt can be good fun. Getting deep enough to have the skirt end up floating on the surface somewhat could be very fun.

For the top, it also varies.

I've considered doing an equestrian outfit if I can find the parts cheap enough; jods, blazer, blouse and riding boots. Much fun :3

I do also have plans to wear a maid outfit and petticoat to play around in an estuary sometime later this year. I bet that due to the awkwardness of the outfit that once I get much past the knees I'll start to get stuck, and be going nowhere but down by the time I'm thigh deep

Totaly agree.
I layered tights to raise this feeling of succion, to be more warm during cold weathers and be protected to injuries

When I used to go out on the kayak with the intent of sinking, I would wear an old bathing suit with the mesh netting cut out, a pair of flip flops, and an old T-shirt that I could quickly remove before starting the sink. The flips flops would come off, too, before taking the first step into an sinky stuff.

I would step into the muck with just the bathing suit with the mesh lining cut out of them... this would allow the soft muck to fully envelop me below the waist, making for a very pleasurable sink. It also made for pretty easy clean ups, too.

There is no standard wardrobe.Old shirts, T-shirts, shorts, pants, underpants...Socks are on your feet, not always, and shoes (rarely. a couple of times, because it's expensive to heat shoes every time. I used worn-out school shoes once, and my father's old shoes from work the other time. He said that the summer job would be particularly dirty, and he needed shoes that he didn't mind). But mostly naked. But I want to share my experience with an unusual wardrobe. Once, back in my small homeland, I got some shoe covers from hazmat suit (according to our ОЗК. Google it if you're interested). Well, I took the deadest couple for diving. It was an interesting experience. They are made of special rubberized fabric, and are very soft. As soon as I plunged in, his legs squeezed pleasantly, which even seemed to make the excitement stronger. However, they remained under the mud. From the beginning, they didn't let me get out at all. I had to let them fill up, and only then did I manage to get out. But it was not possible to take it out at all. There was another similar experience. But with a more advanced hazmat suit (Л-1).This is no longer a raincoat and shoe covers, but something like waders and a jacket. At work, where I am now, there were several sets. Their time was up, and they had to be taken away. But I was allowed to take one home without further ado. Just not long before that, I found an interesting pit next to the boiler house (something like an ash dump in my hometown, but smaller, and with an admixture of coal dust). The mud was just above the navel, and very thick. I've been walking up and down this "pool" in this suit for twenty minutes. And that was really cool. It's just a pity that it didn't work out to make the experience brighter. The suit clearly didn't count on this. But when he climbed out, he caught on a branch of the bushes surrounding the pit and managed to tear it. A few weeks later, the pit was removed.

I’ve never been in Quicksand before and where I live is hard to access (especially without a car), so I can only imagine
Unusually for this site, my ideal clothing choices if I were to go for a sink involve:
- Cosplay type dresses
— Long, often wide dresses, such as Anna’s coronation cosplay
— Dresses from Anime/games, such as Stocking Anarchy cosplay
- Kigurumi/Onesies (ie:SAZAC)
- Mermaid Tail swimsuits/bikinis (the ones that bind the legs together)
Simply because I feel those would be a lot more interesting to see and experience sinking in QS, even if there may be some challenges associated with them

As a girl, tights are always a go to, but paired with a cute dress of any variety. I love a skirt that interacts nicely with the mud and spreads out over the surface as I feel it rising up. Tights make it feel so comfy and helps if it's cold, and the dress only needs to fit the vibe I'm going for.
Damsel in distress is definitely my favourite theme, so I usually go for a cheap but pretty dress online that I don't mind ruining, but I'd LOVE to sink in a proper wedding dress one day <3
